The Florida Health Information Exchange (Florida HIE) is currently going through a vendor transition from PointClickCare (PCC) to CRISP Shared Services (CSS). The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is continually sending notifications about weekly virtual meetings called “office hours” and ongoing webinars to explain the transition process. Encounter Notification Service (ENS)®
ENS® provides subscribers with timely notifications about their patients’ health care encounters. ENS® receives admit, discharge, or transfer notifications from over 700 hospitals and other health care facilities in Florida matching the information to patient lists provided by subscribers. When one of the listed patients receives care at a participating health care facility, subscribers receive an alert containing details about that patient’s hospital encounter.
