About Florida HIE Services
The Florida Health Information Exchange (Florida HIE) is currently going through a vendor transition from PointClickCare (PCC) to CRISP Shared Services (CSS). Please visit the new website at FLHIE.org. The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is continually sending notifications about weekly virtual meetings called “office hours” and ongoing webinars to explain the transition process. If you have questions, please email FLHII@ahca.myflorida.com. For any questions about enrollment into the new Florida HIE services, please reach out to info@flhie.org.
What is the Florida HIE?
Founded in 2011, the Florida Health Information Exchange (HIE) facilitates the secure statewide exchange of health information between health care providers, hospital systems, and payers. Learn more about our services and how you can benefit.
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration governs the Florida HIE by establishing policy, convening stakeholders, providing oversight, engaging Federal partners, and promoting the benefits of health information technology.
Audacious Inquiry contributes innovative technology, strategic insight, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Florida HIE Services.
What is HIE?
HIE electronically makes patient health information available to doctors, nurses, hospitals, and healthcare organizations when needed for patient care. The exchange of patient information is protected through strict medical privacy and confidential procedures. HIE improves the speed, quality, safety, and cost of patient care.
